Are there any deadlines?

The deadline to submit the FAFSA form to the U.S. Department of Education is 12:00 midnight on June 30, 2006, for the 2005 – 2006 school year (July 1, 2005 – June 30, 2006) and July 2, 2007 for the 2006 -2007 school year (July 1, 2006 through June 30, 2007), however, each individual school you plan to attend may have a separate deadline that could be earlier that the federal date, so please check with the schools.

Eligibility for aid may also be based on the amount of money allocated to each school. It is therefore recommended that you submit your financial aid form as soon as possible under January 1st.
